The Healesville Wine Co. is a small boutique Yarra Valley winery that had its humble beginnings with a first release in 2001. Formed from a desire by both John Reith and Roger Hocking to transform grapes that they grew into premium wine, the Healesville Wine Co. now produces around 700 cases per year of award winning Yarra Valley wines. Our Cellar Door is located in the Healesville WINE Centre, in the main street of Healesville only an hour drive from Melbourne, the capital of the state of Victoria, Australia. At our cellar door you can taste our wines or just come in and enjoy a glass or two in the comfortable surroundings. In the cellar of the Healesville Wine Centre is the Platypus room, which is a great venue for concerts and dinners. We also showcase wines from many other small boutique Yarra Valley wineries that can also be enjoyed with a meal. All wines can be purchased to take home at cellar door prices. Every one of our wines is handcrafted by Paul Evans at Quercus Oenology where state-of-the-art winemaking equipment is utilized in a modern winery.
